Public Transportation
*Hey everyone, thanks for the comments, I’ll look into the suggestions
Throughout the past summer, I was able to experience a huge range of public transportation. I spent time this summer in Chicago, Taipei, Hong Kong, and the Bay Area. Each of these areas is a big metropolitan area, and therefore, each has a public transit system to move the city’s people around. They all work in the same format–a rail system that runs both above as well as belowground.
TechCrunch50
*This is the first "real" post on the blog. I would appreciate any comments you have for me.
So for those of you who didn’t know, I volunteered at the TechCrunch50 conference Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. It was actually probably one of the highlights of the summer.
So oddly enough, I didn’t discover TechCrunch until fairly recently. I had only just happened on their site when I saw that they were looking for student volunteers to help work at the conference.
Just a test I suppose
So here’s a fun test post I’m writing from Windows Live Writer. It’s a program from the Windows Live Suite. Basically I can write a blog post on my computer, online or off, and then when i am connected, Windows Live Writer will publish it to the blog. Neat stuff eh?
Anyways, the page is rather boring now. I realize that i haven’t done any real web design work in a while. Time to pull out Photoshop, which at least i still kind of know how to do. But what’s this with PHP and such? *sigh* what happened to good old HTML?
