Day 13 : Favorite Shoes

Maybe I am occasionally a bit excessive when it comes to extolling the virtues of Rainbows, but really, I like these a lot. They’re pricey, i suppose, but they’re also really comfortable and generally are worth the price. I paid ~40 for them, and I got them just after my freshman year. 3 years later, they’re still going strong.
They’ve got leather uppers, and foam beneath, which basically ends up letting the sandal mold to your feet, and it is nice and comfortable. They’re a little uncomfortable in the beginning, but when they’ve softened up a bit, they are much easier to wear. I really like them as beach shoes, since they’re really comfortable to put on when they’ve been sitting in the sun for a while.
I suppose the most interesting part is that they’ve got a lifetime warranty – as long as you haven’t worked through the top or bottom layers of the sandal, they will replace your sandals for no charge (assuming damage was due to poor construction). I’ve run through the bottom layer already, but I’m not worried since these guys are probably going to last me a lot longer.
It’s too bad snowy weather is not conducive to flip flops. Good thing I still have my perpetual California flip flop tan.
