| Like I mentioned 2 blogs ago, everyone scrambling to be the "first" to get the iPad...then, a few weeks later...oh look, a newer version of the iPad with 3G and stuff. Seriously, why rush to get version 1.0 of anything? The only reason I can think of is to show off to the world that they have one. Then, like any other similar situations, they realize they're not special anymore when everyone else in the world has one too.
I've been mostly into Facebook games recently. Never have the attention span to play FFXI on my free time, so I just cook some food in Cafe World or grow some stuff in Farmville. Yes...I've entered the crazy Farmville world, although I don't understand how a person can stay on it 24/7. Once a person fills up their farms with plants, they can't really do anything else except visit other people's farms, which isn't all that exciting unless you get exp or money, so it baffles me how people can stay on the game longer than that. I log on maybe twice a day to Farmville for about 30min, max, just to harvest, plow, reseed, fertilize friends' farms. What's kinda interesting about playing these games is...I play it with friends I haven't spoken to since high school, and we just silently go about our business helping each other everyday. |

| Crybabies... I saw this article on the front page of Yahoo today: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Black-people-must-leave-NJ-apf-1749619349.html?x=0 I can't believe how worked up people get over stuff like this...boycott the store because some stupid prankster snuck his way to the microphone and said something racial?! I would be offended if I was Asian and someone told all Asians to leave the store over the mic, but given that it's in a Walmart (or any store for that matter), and the fact that it was most likely a childish prank, I wouldn't think much of it. I might make a complaint about making sure their mic wasn't easy to get to, but I definitely wouldn't run around crying to news reporters and starting a boycott. Come on, people...crybabies.... Update (4/20/2010): Lo-an-behold, it was a 16 year old. If you're surprised then you need to wake up... |

| FFXI YAY SAINTS! Honestly I just cheer for the winning team, I could care less about football. =) Pretty much only going to do Dynamis, occasional parties maybe. For now, random farming.  |
